Surge Protection

A ground wire’s purpose is to direct any additional current safely into the ground. The surge connection from the protector remains inactive until a bigger than normal voltage seems. This extra current is then safely diverted through the excess earth wire, directly into the floor. This prevents more current than ordinary from flowing to your appliances efficiently making sure that they are protected from any harm that can be caused by power surges.
